Year 6 battled hard in a close fought game away against Tickton, but unfortunately a late goal in injury time for the home side gave them the victory 5-4. Great game everyone, well played.

Named Person – You may have heard a lot of stories in the media surrounding the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, part of which includes legislation about the role of a Named Person for every child. This was introduced in Highland around 8 years ago. In school, I am Named Person for every child in P1 – P7. As there has been a lot of negative and misleading information about this issue, I am copying a link to the Children & Young people’s Commissioner Scotland, which outlines the facts.
